The Final Curtain Finishing Company operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, services, and finishing services (collectively, the “Services”), in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping and needlepoint finishing experience.

The Services are powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, describe your rights and responsibilities when you visit our website, place an order, purchase a product, purchase a finishing service, or otherwise use our Services.

Section 1 - Access and Account

We do not guarantee that finished products will exactly match images, mockups, or examples shown.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services or products at any time.

Section 3 - Custom Finishing Services

All finishing services are custom and based on customer-provided needlepoint pieces.

Finishing timelines begin only after we receive your piece and all required order details.

Due to the handmade nature of the service, variations in size, shape, materials, and appearance may occur.

Additional charges may apply if your piece requires extra work or materials.

We reserve the right to decline or adjust orders if the piece received differs materially from the order details.

Section 4 - Customer-Provided Needlepoint Pieces

Customers are responsible for the condition and preparation of any needlepoint piece provided.

We are not responsible for pre-existing issues such as damage, distortion, staining, weak fibers, or stitching errors.

You acknowledge that working with handmade materials involves inherent risk. While we use reasonable care, we cannot guarantee that all conditions can be corrected.

Declared Value and Liability Limitation

Customers are responsible for declaring the value of their needlepoint piece prior to or at the time of shipment. This value should reflect the reasonable replacement cost of the canvas and materials only and must not include sentimental value.

If no value is declared, liability for any loss or damage will be limited to the amount paid for the finishing service associated with that item.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Original purchase price

  • Sentimental value

  • Indirect or consequential damages

Section 5 - Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order.

Orders may not be modified or canceled once work has begun.

Section 6 - Deposits, Payments, and Cancellations

Deposits are non-refundable.

If cancellation occurs before work begins, we will return your unfinished piece but retain the deposit.

Once work begins, orders cannot be canceled or refunded.

Section 7 - Prices and Billing

Prices are subject to change without notice, but once you place your order your quoted prices or fees will not change.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information and to pay all charges incurred.

Section 8 - Finishing Timeline

All timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to materials, order volume, customer response time, or other factors outside our control.

Section 9 - Customer Approval and Communication

Some orders may require approval before completion.

Delays in customer response may delay order completion.

Section 10 - Materials and Availability

Materials may vary based on availability.

We may substitute materials when necessary with reasonable alternatives.

Section 11 - Shipping and Delivery

Customers are responsible for shipping their unfinished piece to us using a trackable and insured method. We are not responsible for items until they are received at our studio.

Finished pieces are shipped via carriers such as FedEx or UPS. Tracking information will be provided.

Once transferred to the carrier, shipping is handled by the carrier.

In the event of loss or damage in transit, we will assist in filing a claim with the carrier or insurance provider.

Our responsibility for shipping-related claims is limited to the amount recoverable through the carrier or insurance.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or incorrect addresses.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the item is delivered to the carrier, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Section 12 - Returns, Refunds, and Adjustments

Custom finishing services are non-refundable once work has begun.

Customers will have an opportunity to review and approve finished work prior to shipment.

Once approved and shipped, the order is considered complete.

Section 13 - Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials on this site are owned by The Final Curtain Finishing Company or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

Section 14 - Optional Tools

Third-party tools may be provided “as is” without warranties.

Section 15 - Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for third-party websites or content.

Section 16 - Relationship with Shopify

Shopify provides the platform but is not responsible for any transactions or services.
